The report says only the 4.7-inch iPhone will launch in August, with Apple debuting a larger 5.5-inch or 5.6-inch model in September. According to sources cited in Taiwan's Economic Daily News (spotted by Reuters), the iPhone 6 is expected to launch in August, one month ahead of the company's normal product cycle schedule. Apple typically releases its next-generation iPhones in September of each year, but a new report suggests we might see the iPhone 6 a little earlier this time around. Earlier this year, an alleged leaked document of what was believed to be a schematic of the iPhone 6 provided hints that the new Apple smartphone could be in the 5.5-inch range. No great tech advancements here, but a splash of official color for the iPhone and iPod touch wouldn't go unappreciated.
